Mission Statement and Purpose
As part of the International Church of the Nazarene, the mission of the Harrah Church of the Nazarene is threefold:
1.To effectively preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that lives are changed.
2.To equip leaders of all ages for lives of service, worship, ministry, making disciples, and training disciple makers.
3.To connect to people with a healing community of grace.
Therefore, HNC seeks to be:
A WORSHIP CENTER: by praising God through the proclamation of his Word by singing, by praying, by giving our resources, and by celebrating the sacraments (1Chron 16:27-29).
An EVANGELISTIC CENTER: where members seek to fulfill the Great Commission by inviting people to respond to His love and experience the hope of eternal life (Matthew 28: 19-20).
A DEVELOPMENT CENTER: by training believers to serve by providing opportunities to discover gifts for ministry through Bible studies and training experiences (Ephesians 4:1 1-13).
A DEPLOYMENT CENTER: by sending members  into communities, workplaces, and the world to serve the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of others (Matt. 25:34-40).
